The veil from behind — lace edging, flowers woven into her hair, garden light coming through the tulle. Brides see their own veil for one day and mostly from the inside, so I photograph it properly from the angles they never get. Details like this reward a longer lens and a patient moment: the texture, the transparency, the way winter light behaves through fabric. It's the fashion photographer in me that refuses to let a veil this pretty go unrecorded. Years from now, when the dress is boxed away, this frame is how the craftsmanship gets remembered.
