Once the ceremony is done, watch the parents. All that nervous energy turns to relief, and suddenly they're laughing like this at their table. I make a point of photographing the mums and dads throughout the meal, because they're usually too busy hosting to think about pictures of themselves. Shooting through the flowers softens the frame and keeps me at a distance, so the moment stays completely natural.
