Ten minutes of fresh air does wonders in the middle of a wedding day. We stepped outside the Marine, light was perfect walked a little, and let the sea air reset everything before we headed down towards the beach. The area around the hotel gives you the red sandstone, the greenery, and that bright coastal light Troon is known for — all within a minute of the front door I walk my dog daily. I keep these walks unhurried. No route march between photo spots, just a stroll with cameras along for the ride. Couples always come back in lighter than they went out. The photographs are really just a bonus.
