Autumn is a brilliant season to marry in Troon. The light turns soft and golden, the trees do this, and the beach is quieter than in summer. Couples sometimes worry an autumn or winter date means fewer photo options — honestly, it's often the opposite. You trade long evenings for richer colour and moodier skies, and I know exactly where to find both around the Marine. This spot is a short wander from the hotel, no cars needed. A white fence, turning leaves, and two people fresh from their ceremony. Some backdrops you can't build. You just need to know where they are.
