The flower arch, a kiss, and a sky threatening drama behind them — I'll take that combination every time. Dark clouds make colours sing; the sunflowers on the arch and the tartan of his kilt glow against all that grey. Technically this means balancing my light against a moody sky, which is bread and butter when you've learned flash properly. For the couple it meant standing under their arch for ninety seconds while I worked. Every wedding has a picture that ends up framed on the wall. I'd put money on this being theirs.
