Down the aisle of the Rooftop Conservatory at the Gailes Hotel, arm in arm with her dad, with every guest turned in their seat. The glass roof does the work here — flooding the whole room with soft daylight so nobody's in shadow and nothing needs a flash.
This is one of the most technically demanding thirty seconds of any wedding. You're shooting into changing light, people are moving towards you, and you get one attempt. My habit is to pick my position during the empty-room shot earlier in the day, so when the doors open I'm already exactly where I need to be, settings dialled in, watching faces rather than fiddling with the camera.
What I love about this frame is the guests: the smiles, the phones down, everyone actually present in the moment. That's a room full of people who care about this couple.
