Shooting through a veil takes a bit of care. Too much and you lose her face; too little and there's no romance in it. Here I let the tulle fall across the frame with the light coming from the side, so the veil softens the edges while her eyes stay sharp. That balance comes from years of portrait and editorial work before I ever photographed a wedding.
