What You're Looking At
Every gallery on this page is a real wedding. Real couples, real venues, real Scottish weather. No setups, no hired models, no perfect conditions. Just two people getting married and me doing my best to make sure they have something beautiful to look back on.
I've been photographing weddings since 2019 and I was recognised as a UK Top 20 Wedding Photographer by Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine — which still means a lot to me. But honestly, the feedback that matters most is what couples say when they get their photos back.
"We hate having our photos taken — and we loved every single one."
That comes up again and again. It's the thing I'm most proud of.
A Word About the Venues
Scotland has some of the most extraordinary wedding venues in the world, and I've been fortunate enough to photograph at many of them. Each one brings something different.
Blairquhan Castle is dramatic and grand — those interiors are unlike anywhere else in Ayrshire. Enterkine House is intimate and warm, a country house that photographs beautifully in every season. The Marine Hotel in Troon gives you that classic coastal backdrop with real elegance. Piersland House is one of those venues where every corner works — incredible architecture and gorgeous grounds.
Lodge on the Loch at Loch Lomond puts you right on the water with mountain views that genuinely take your breath away. Ross Priory is quiet, private, and cinematic. Pollok House in Glasgow surprises people every time — stunning Georgian interiors in the middle of the city. The Gailes Hotel, Fairfield House, Cottiers, Radstone, Redhurst, Brig o' Doon, and Mabie House have all produced weddings I'm incredibly proud of too.
every venue has its moments, and finding them is part of what I love about this job.

Venues I'd Love to Shoot At Next
A lot of couples wonder whether they should choose a photographer who's shot at their venue before. It's an understandable thought — but here's my honest take on it.
Every award I've won and every magazine front cover I've been published on came from a wedding at a venue I was visiting for the first time. Every single one. There's something that happens when you arrive somewhere new — you're looking harder, noticing more, finding angles that someone who's been there a hundred times stopped seeing years ago. Familiarity is comfortable. But fresh eyes find the extraordinary.
So if your venue isn't in my galleries yet, that's not a concern — it might actually be an advantage.
